Kinder Farm Park is a truly unique gem among parks in the region and probably anywhere. Kinder has a huge playground (known by the locals as “Big Kinder”) and a smaller tot lot (“Little Kinder”) which alone can make for a fun day with the kids, but the park is also designed to preserve the farming history of the 1930’s depression era, and as such there are typically a variety of animals for the kids to see up close, including chickens, turkeys, geese, cows, pigs, goats and sheep. The park also features a 2.4 mi paved perimeter trail which is extremely popular with families for biking as well as jogging and walking in addition to several miles of natural trails. The 288-acre park offers a huge variety of natural and recreational activities including hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing and picnicking. There are picnic tables and grills throughout the park in addition to 2 large pavilions that are frequently used by locals for parties. More info about the park can be found here

Also contained within the park is the Garcelon Athletic Complex, which features 6 pristine multi-purpose fields (2 with artificial grass), 4 baseball fields and multiple tennis and basketball courts, several of which are lighted. Last but not least, the park contains one of the only Frisbee-golf courses in the area!
