Olde Severna Park

Olde Severna Park is an extremely desirable neighborhood with access to the Severn River that likely has the most diverse housing stock of any Severna Park neighborhood. Olde Severna Park features several houses over 100 years old, many more built in the mid-20th century, and several built within the last 10 years. Many of the larger properties and waterfront properties can sell for well over $1M. On the eastern side of B&A Boulevard, apart from most of the rest of the neighborhood lies the Village of Severna Park, a group of 116 semi-detached houses built in the mid-1970’s to mid-1980’s with values generally in the mid $300’s to low $400’s. What all of these diverse houses have in common, though, is access to the spectacular Olde Severna Park amenities and the extremely active OSPIA neighborhood association. Olde Severna Park’s Hatton Memorial Beach, features a great beach area, a roped-off lifeguard-monitored swimming area, 2 large piers (one new in 2015) a great playground and the best pavilion in Severna Park. On Fridays during the summer many residents make their way down to have dinner under the pavilion and hang out with friends at the beach. For boaters, Olde Severna offers moorings, pier slips, piling tie-ups, a catamaran rack, a dinghy/kayak rack and a boat launch ramp.

Olde Severna Park is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Severna Park, just steps from Severna Park Elementary and the B&A Trail and about ¼ mile from the B&A Retail Area, which features many of our favorite local shops.

The Severn River Swim Club is located directly adjacent to Olde Severna Park and is the pool of choice for many in West Severna Park, Olde Severna Park, Linstead, Round Bay and other nearby neighborhoods, with a wait list time of several years.
