West Severna Park

West Severna Park is a very desirable neighborhood of 238 homes directly across from Severna Park High School with access to the Severn River. The West Severna Park beach is the deepest sandy beach in Severna Park, and has playground equipment, a pavilion, restrooms and a pier directly adjacent. While the beach is a great spot for informal gatherings year-round, the neighborhood also has tons of organized events, including the camp out, Oktoberfest, fishing derby, Halloween parade, Easter egg hunt and more!  The marina trail makes for another fun exccursion. West Severna Park is also home to the legendary multi-(over 35 B-division)title winning WSP United men’s soccer team!

West Severna Park also rates very highly on the walkability index, just over ¼ mile from the B&A Trail and about ½ mile from “Downtown” Severna Park, which features many of our favorite local shops, with tons of great options for the kids.

While not technically part of the neighborhood, the Severn River Swim Club is located adjactent to West Severna Park and is the pool of choice for many in West Severna Park, Olde Severna Park, Linstead, Round Bay and other nearby neighborhoods, with a wait list time of several years.
